This hotel in a peaceful and remote part of Holland exceeded my expectations in every way. the value for money was fantastic. The prices were reasonable and affordable, especially considering the attention to detail and excellent service provided by the staff. The location of the hotel, nestled in the tranquil suburbs of Workum, offered a quiet and serene atmosphere that was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with a lovely balcony overlooking the canal, providing a picturesque view. The breakfast provided was delicious and the breakfast room had a cosy ambiance that added to the overall experience.

I liked that the hotel was located near the beach, which was great for a Christmas walk. the breakfast had a decent variety, including pastries and coffee.

The room temperature was really high and the staff didn't seem to be able to offer any solutions. the mosquitos were really bothersome and made the hot air feel even more uncomfortable.

Staying at this hotel was the perfect experience for me. The room had a cool interior design with a lovely view of the waterway running alongside the hotel, making it very peaceful. The hotel facilities were excellent, and the fact that the hotel had its own parking space and location for bikes made everything much easier. Additionally, the hotel's location right next to the harbour was very attractive and allowed me to moor my boat, kayak, sup, or kanoo right at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and personable, and the breakfast was wonderful, providing a large selection of food to choose from.

While some rooms had a nice view of the canal and old ships, others may not.

During our stay in the winter, the surroundings were very quiet and lacked entertainment. We found a few nice restaurants, but the town seemed too empty.
